Successful trial production of Handan Steel L320 pipeline steel
Recently, Handan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. successfully completed the trial production of its new high-value product—L320 pipeline steel. A total of 6,400 tons were produced in this batch. Following internal quality checks, the material met all user specifications, confirming its high performance and reliability. This marks the first trial of a low-carbon, high-manganese, niobium-microalloyed hot-rolled steel grade. The successful trial not only validated the feasibility of the production process but also helped establish the optimal processing route for L320 pipeline steel.
