Working fire in Des Plaines, 12-23-22

On Friday, December 23rd, 2022, during a period of sub-zero temperatures, firefighters from Des Plaines, North Maine, Niles, and Park Ridge responded to a fire at 221 Good Avenue. The house was just a few blocks away from North Maine Fire Station 1, making it a quick response for local crews. The fire broke out on the floor near the rear of the home, specifically over a crawl space, which presented a challenging situation for the firefighters involved.
