Working fire in Des Plaines, 12-23-22

On Friday, December 23rd, 2022, during a particularly cold day with temperatures well below zero, firefighters from Des Plaines, North Maine, Niles, and Park Ridge responded to a fire at 221 Good Avenue. The house was just a few blocks away from the North Maine Fire Station 1, making it a quick response for local crews. The fire was located on the floor near the rear of the home, directly over a crawl space, which made it a challenging situation for the first responders.
