MVA with a motorcycle in Wheeling, 5-30-17
On Tuesday evening (May 30, 2017), emergency services in Wheeling were dispatched to the intersection of Dundee and Schoenbeck Roads following reports of a collision between a car and a motorcycle. Upon arrival, officers found that the motorcycle, which had been carrying two individuals, was involved in the accident. Both passengers were lying in the road and required immediate medical attention. In addition to the two motorcycle riders, the driver of the car was also taken to the hospital.
The scene was bustling with activity as all three of Wheeling's ambulances, along with two fire engines, responded to the incident. Also present at the scene were Battalion 24 and Chief 2400, providing additional support and coordination.
