1. Before doing the load test, install the high-voltage shielded microampere meter on the high-voltage output end of the double-pressure cylinder, and connect the dedicated high-voltage line to the microampere meter and the tested product respectively.

2. Check whether the instrument, discharge rod, double pressure cylinder, test product connection line and grounding line are correct, and whether the grounding line connection is reliable. Check whether the high-pressure safety distance meets the requirements before starting the high-pressure test of the sample.

3. Check that there is no abnormality in the DC high-voltage generator device, and then turn on the single-phase AC 220V power switch. At this time, the green light is on, indicating that the power is on. The DC leakage and DC voltage withstand test of the test sample can be started.

4. Press the red button, then the red light is on, indicating that the high voltage is on, and the pressure will be increased.

5. Adjust the leveler gently in the clockwise direction, and the output starts from zero. The step-up rate is preferably 3-5 kV per second to increase the test voltage. For large capacitance test samples, it is necessary to raise the voltage slowly. Otherwise, it may cause voltage overshoot. It is also necessary to monitor that the charging current of the ammeter does not exceed the maximum charging current of the DC generator. When the desired voltage or current is reached, the ammeter and voltmeter readings are recorded for the specified time.

6. After the test is completed, step down and adjust the positioner back to zero. Then press the green button to cut off the high voltage and turn off the power switch.

7. After the test is completed, the discharge product is used to discharge the sample for several times, and the discharge can be performed close to the sample and the work of stitch removal. For small capacitor samples such as zinc oxide surge arresters, magnetic surge arresters, etc., slowly adjust the voltage regulator to increase the required voltage (current) value, and then read the voltage (current) value from the digital meter. To measure the 75% UDC-1mA of the zinc oxide surge arrester, first increase the current value to 1000uA and stop the voltage value (in this case, record the voltage and current value). Then press the yellow button, the voltage will drop to the original value. 75% and keep this state. At this point, the microampere meter values ​​and voltage values ​​can be read. After the measurement is completed, adjust the piezo-electric counter to return to zero counterclockwise, press the green button, and press the red button when you need to raise the pressure again. For large capacitance test samples, the boost should be even slower, and it is necessary to monitor that the charging current of the ammeter does not exceed the maximum charging current of the generator, and the boosting speed must be slowed down to avoid excessive charging current.

Please be sure to pay attention to the following: After the test is completed, turn the voltage adjustment potentiometer counterclockwise back to zero, then press the green button to cut off the high voltage. At this time, do not turn off the power first, the voltmeter shows that there is voltage value, this is stored Voltage, equal voltage drop to about 2000V, can be used to discharge a number of discharge rods to ensure safety.

4. In the course of use, it is found that the red light is off, the green light is on, and the DC high voltage is down, which is the relevant protection action. At this point, follow these steps:

4.1 Return the positioner to zero position.

4.2 Turn off the power switch. The panel indicators are off.

4.3 After one minute, the low-voltage capacitor in the standby is fully discharged and the power switch is allowed to turn on again. After re-doing the no-load test and ascertaining the situation, the test may be boosted again.

5. Note: When doing the cable test, install a current limiting resistor. (When doing other tests, current limiting resistors cannot be used)
