National Auto Parts Market Federation holds 10 years celebration
On November 9th, the National Auto Parts Market Federation celebrated its 10th anniversary in Jinan, Shandong Province. The event brought together managers and industry experts from auto parts markets across the country, marking a significant milestone in the development of the sector.
Hui Yiguang, Chairman of the National Auto Parts Market Federation, shared the history of the federation during his speech. He recalled that in October 1997, representatives from 14 major auto parts cities and markets, including Shanghai Oriental Auto Parts City, Beijing Xijiao Auto Parts City, Xi’an Auto Parts Market, Shandong Auto Parts City, Wuhan Wanguo Auto Parts City, and Hefei Auto Parts City, gathered in Jinan for the “National Auto Parts Market Seminar.†At the meeting, participants proposed the slogan “jointly seeking development and cooperation,†calling for the formation of a nationwide network of auto parts markets. They emphasized the importance of leveraging the role of these markets in resource allocation, distribution, and regional influence.
During the forum, the 14 founding units unanimously agreed to establish the National Auto Parts Market Federation, with the support of the China National Automobile Industry Sales Corporation. They also issued an initiative to promote collaboration among auto parts market operators nationwide.
Since its establishment, the National Auto Parts Market Federation has worked closely with government agencies such as the State Administration for Industry and Commerce and the State Administration of Quality Supervision. It has actively promoted national policies and regulations related to the auto industry, supported the growth of the auto parts market, and helped improve market mechanisms. The federation has also encouraged member markets to transition from basic property management to more comprehensive, multi-functional services, including agent operations, chain management, logistics, and distribution, driving the transformation and modernization of the industry.
At the celebration, the federation honored 13 auto parts markets with the title of "China Shopping Demonstration Auto Parts Market." These included Beijing Xijiao Auto Parts City, Xi’an Auto Parts Market, Shanghai Oriental Auto Parts City, Changchun Auto Parts Wholesale Market, Hangzhou Auto Parts City, Shandong Auto Parts City, Wuhan Wanguo Auto Parts City, Hunan Three Xiangnan Huda Market Auto Parts City, Henan Auto Parts Logistics Trade Park, Guiyang Taiciqiao Auto Parts City, China (Shiyan) Auto Parts City, Jiujiang Auto Parts City, and Zhengzhou Domestic Auto Parts Market. Additionally, five individuals—Wang Jiashan, Sun Luqin, Zhang Hongwei, Zhu Caibao, and Liu Jichun—were recognized as model figures in the national auto parts market.
