Filming for the tv show ChicagoMed
This past weekend, I had the chance to see some exciting filming happening downtown for the upcoming TV series *ChicagoMED*. It’s always fascinating to watch how they bring these shows to life, and there was quite a buzz around the area as people gathered to catch a glimpse of what was going on.
Here are a few snapshots from the taping. These photos really capture the energy and detail that went into setting up the scenes. Each shot feels like it could be a frame straight out of the show itself.
[First Image Caption] This first image really highlights the production value—they’ve gone all out with the set design and attention to detail. The costumes and props look incredibly realistic, which is essential for creating an authentic feel in a medical drama.

It’s not hard to imagine them diving into their roles and bringing their characters to life.

[Fourth Image Caption] Here’s another great shot where you get a sense of scale. The background is filled with extras dressed as医护人员, adding that layer of realism that helps immerse viewers. It looks like they’re setting up for a big hospital emergency sequence.
[Fifth Image Caption] And finally, this last picture gives you a peek at the lighting setup. Proper lighting is crucial in any film or TV production, and it seems like they’re putting a lot of effort into ensuring everything looks perfect on camera.
Overall, it was such a cool experience to witness the process firsthand. If the final product turns out half as good as these preliminary shots look, *ChicagoMED* is going to be a must-watch for sure!
