Double fatal fire in Ingleside, 12-10-20

On December 10th, 2020, around 11 PM, the Fox Lake Fire Department responded to a serious fire at the 35,000 block of N. Hunt in Ingleside. The first-arriving units faced intense flames, multiple rescues, and water supply issues. Command quickly escalated the situation, calling for additional resources and manpower. Tragically, two young girls lost their lives in the fire, and four adults were rushed to local hospitals in critical condition. This was a devastating night for the community, and the families involved are now facing an incredibly difficult time.

As a way to support the affected family during this tough holiday season, a GoFundMe has been set up under the name "Evans Family Fire Fundraiser." If you're able to help, even in a small way, it would make a big difference to them. I've attached a photo taken by Jeff Rudolph, which captures the moment after the fire. It's a powerful reminder of the impact such tragedies can have on our lives.
