Beiben Heavy Truck New Plant Officially Launched Domestic Longest Single Line 50,000 Capacity Chassis Assembly Line
On August 22, 2011, China's first single line 50,000 heavy truck assembly line production ceremony was held at Beifang Heavy Duty Truck Co., Ltd., an Inner Mongolia Machine Group owned by China North Industries Group Corporation. A Beiben V3 heavy truck drove down the production line, marking the formal start-up of the 50,000 assembly base that Beiben Heavy Duty Truck has invested and built since 2010. Since then, the production capacity of Beiben heavy trucks has reached 100,000 vehicles.
It is understood that the Beiwan Heavy Duty Truck 50,000 assembly line production line project is located in the Baotou Equipment Manufacturing Industry Park in Inner Mongolia. The project mainly includes the assembly shop, testing and debugging workshop, process parking lot, finished vehicle parking lot and public auxiliary facilities. Institute, air compressor station, centralized fluid supply station, etc.
Beiben Heavy Duty's new production line is a U-shaped assembly line with a total length of 760 meters. It is the longest single-line production line with a capacity of 50,000 units in China, and it is also the first domestic production line with a frame turning machine. The frame can be directly flipped during operation, saving production time and improving assembly efficiency.
According to Beiben's "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" development plan, the new assembly line at Baotou Base will form a production layout of 60,000 sets of axles, 60,000 sets of body, 50,000 sets of assembly, and 50,000 sets of coating and solder resisting. Together with the production capacity of Beiben's Shandong Penglai and Chongqing's general assembly base, Beiben's heavy truck assembly capacity will reach 100,000 units. According to reports, the completion of this assembly line has solved the problem of the construction of the north-central general assembly capacity in the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan†and is also based on the need for Beiben’s joint ventures and sales, which will further balance market demand.
In the current complicated and unfavorable situation of the heavy-duty truck market, Bei Ben Heavy Duty Truck still achieved a revenue of RMB 7.89 billion in its main business from January to July 2011, a good 15% year-on-year increase.
