St. Charles General Alarm, 5-16-14

From John Tulipano: At approximately 1:20 PM today (May 16, 2014), TriComm issued a general alarm for a reported fire at 1612 Ronzheimer in St. Charles. When I arrived on scene about five minutes later, the first-arriving units had already begun forcing entry into the garage and were laying a second line. Upon arrival, there was no visible fire—just smoke coming from the garage area. Firefighters quickly knocked it down, and one small dog was rescued from inside. The fire appeared to be contained to the garage, and no structural damage was reported. It seems like the crew did an excellent job of controlling the situation before it could spread.
