Cast Steel Pressure Seal Check Valve
Designed for high-pressure environments, this check valve features a pressure seal bonnet that enhances sealing performance under extreme conditions. While a bolted bonnet is also available as an alternative option, the pressure seal design ensures a tighter closure as internal pressure increases. This metal-to-metal sealing mechanism relies on a soft iron gasket with a tapered edge that conforms to the bonnet’s surface when preloaded. The thin knife-edge of the gasket is securely wedged between the body and the bonnet, creating a reliable seal with minimal upward force. Once installed, the joint remains leak-free regardless of thermal or pressure fluctuations, eliminating the need for further adjustments after assembly.
