Chinese fares are almost high in the world

Wu Bixia, deputy of the National People's Congress from Beijing and professor of vocal music at the Chinese Conservatory of Music, said that the average performance fare of China accounts for about 20% of the monthly income of the general population. “China’s current fare is almost high in the world.”

Wu Bixia provided a set of data on the spot: At present, China's average performance fare is 450 yuan; the average monthly income of low-income people in China is 2,000 yuan, and the average monthly income of middle-income groups is 3,300 yuan. The 450-yuan ticket will account for 13.6% and 22.5% of their monthly income respectively. In Russia, the average monthly income of the low-income group is 15,000 roubles. Ordinary show fares range from 100 roubles to 155 roubles, which is only 0.7% to 1% of their income. The average price for a USA art show is $45 each, and the high is about $100. The average monthly income of low-income Americans is around US$3,000. Ordinary tickets account for 1.5% of their income. Expensive fares account for about 3%.
