According to a few days ago, relevant departments of the Ministry of Environmental Protection pointed out that during the period from 2012 to 2017, China's pulp and paper industry will promote the construction of two dioxin-reducing emission reduction projects, and at the same time strive to realize the coordinated emission reduction of various pollutants.
It is understood that the chlorine bleaching pulping process adopted by the pulp and paper industry is one of the major sources of the production and emission of the two dioxin, and it is listed as one of the six key industries for the priority reduction of dioxin. The relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Environmental Protection pointed out that China's pulp and paper industry has two dioxin emissions reduction projects. It is the first global project of the Global Environment Facility to provide financial support for the promotion of the reduction of dioxin emissions in the non-pulp pulp and paper industry. It will help companies adopt best available technologies and best environmental practices in their efforts to achieve various Collaborative emission reduction of pollutants.
