Intelligent heat dissipation test device passed the identification
On May 12, 2006, a technical appraisal meeting for the "Intelligent Heating Radiator Heat Dissipation Test Device" was held as planned at the Shenyang Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute, organized by the Shenyang Economic Commission. This event marked an important step forward in the development of heating radiator technology in China.
Song Weimin, deputy secretary-general of the China Building Metal Structure Association and director of the heating radiator committee, emphasized that this test device holds great significance for the sustainable growth of the industry. He pointed out that the development of this intelligent testing equipment will significantly improve the accuracy of heat dissipation measurements in China, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of domestic products on the global stage. The device is expected to play a vital role in ensuring product quality and promoting fair market practices.
Heat dissipation is a key technical indicator for heating radiators, and factors such as design, shape, and manufacturing processes directly influence efficiency. However, some companies have been using inaccurate estimates or even falsifying data from well-known brands to mislead consumers and gain unfair advantages. With the introduction of a reliable and advanced testing device, it becomes much harder for unscrupulous manufacturers to manipulate heat dissipation figures.
Given the rapid growth of the radiator market, ensuring product quality and improving testing capabilities has become a top priority. In response, the Shenyang Technical Supervision Association, along with the Shenyang City Product Quality Supervision Institute and Shenyang Ziwei Electromechanical Equipment Co., Ltd., conducted extensive market research and consulted with industry experts. Based on existing domestic testing technologies, they developed the "Intelligent Heating Radiator Heat Dissipation Test Device."
Director Su Xihui of the Shenyang Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute explained that the institute, established in 1980 and affiliated with the Shenyang Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, is a comprehensive inspection and testing organization. It currently operates 20 testing laboratories equipped with 1,053 sets of testing equipment across an 8,000 square meter area.
In 1997, the institute was accredited by the China National Laboratory Accreditation Committee and gained recognition for 838 testing projects. It houses several specialized inspection centers, including the National Food Processing Machinery Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, the National Food Additive Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, and the Ministry of Construction National Water Supply Equipment Shenyang Inspection Center.
Experts from institutions such as Tsinghua University, Harbin Institute of Technology, and the Shandong Institute of Building Science, along with senior engineers from the National Radiator Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, conducted a thorough review of the device based on GB/T13754-1992, the standard for measuring heating radiator heat dissipation. They concluded that the device offers advanced testing methods and intelligent functionality, reaching the leading level domestically. Its performance meets the requirements of the national standard, and the computer-controlled detection process enhances the automation and accuracy of the testing procedures, enabling unmanned operation under three working conditions.
