Hunchai Heavy Industries first 9L 21/31 engine crankshaft successfully offline

Recently, the first 9L 21/31 engine crankshaft of Henan Diesel Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. was successfully off the assembly line. The crankshaft has a length of 3890 mm and a net weight of 1402 kg. Both the length and the weight are the records of Hunchi's crankshaft processing history. The success of the crankshaft trial not only fully proves that Heichai Heavy Industry has leading technology and outstanding manufacturing capabilities, but also lays the foundation for future mass production and sales.
Since it is the first time to process the crankshaft, Hunchie Heavy Industries is faced with such problems as precision and performance requirements, complex manufacturing processes, and the limitations of existing processing equipment. At the same time, it is difficult to complete the processing task within two months. . In order to ensure a successful trial production, Hunchai Heavy Industries set up a 9L 21/31 crankshaft trial team to learn from 8L 21/31 crankshaft machining experience, fully analyze predictable problems in production, and formulate solutions.
Because it is processed on an ordinary grinding machine, when grinding the connecting rod neck, the weight of the crankshaft is too large to cause it to fall, resulting in an excessive processing size. In order to solve this problem, Hunchui Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. has designed a set of grinding wheel eccentric roller center frame to ensure the machining accuracy and solve the crankshaft processing problem. After carrying out many technical researches and completing more than 40 procedures, the 9L 21/31 crankshaft passed the inspection and was smoothly put into storage.
The 21/31, 16/24 series of medium-speed engines are the international leading products introduced by Hechai Heavy Industry from Germany's Man Company in 2007. At present, Hunchai Heavy Industry has achieved mass production of two series of six models, which has resulted in major adjustments to the product structure and consolidated the company's position in the medium-speed marine market.
