Manhole Description

1.) The manhole cover is installed on the top of a tank truck, serving as an essential access point for maintenance and fluid transfer operations. It ensures the safety of the tank during emergencies.

2.) Equipped with a P/V vent system, it helps regulate internal pressure. In case of pressure differences between the inside and outside of the tanker, it automatically vents air in emergency situations or under high temperatures.

3.) Under normal conditions, the vent remains closed. During loading/unloading or temperature changes, the vent automatically adjusts to maintain stable internal pressure, preventing excessive pressure or vacuum buildup.

4.) In emergencies such as accidents, the emergency exhaust valve opens to release pressure, reducing the risk of explosion and ensuring the safety of the cargo and personnel.

5.) Designed with a two-stage opening mechanism, it allows safe pressure release when the upper binding plate is opened, preventing accidental injury to workers.

6.) Two blind holes are available for installation of optical sensors, dip tubes, or external vacuum valves, depending on customer requirements.
