Baling petrochemical styrene plant successfully started with a single charge

It was learned from Sinopec Group that on June 23rd, Baling Petrochemical newly established a 120,000 t/y styrene plant with an output purity of 99.98% qualified styrene, achieving a successful start of feeding. The styrene plant with a total investment of 496 million yuan was started in August 2010. It adopts the adiabatic negative pressure dehydrogenation styrene technology independently developed by Sinopec, and the ethylbenzene provided by the Changxing branch as raw material. The annual output after production reaches 12 Ten thousand tons.
