At its core, Autodesk Construction Cloud brings together leading construction solutions such as Assemble, BuildingConnected, BIM 360, and PlanGrid. These tools are now seamlessly integrated with Autodesk’s well-established design authoring software, enabling better collaboration between headquarters, office, and field teams. This unified approach is designed to boost productivity and streamline workflows across all stages of a project.
The platform features over 50 new product enhancements and deeper integrations between its various tools, allowing data to flow more efficiently across construction phases. Additionally, it introduces powerful AI capabilities that help construction teams identify and address potential design risks before they become costly issues, reducing delays and rework.
Autodesk Construction Cloud is built on three key pillars:
1. **Advanced Technology**: A suite of intuitive, high-performance tools that bring together teams from design through to operations.
2. **Builders Network**: The largest community of owners, designers, builders, and trades, helping companies find the right partners for every project.
3. **Predictive Insights**: AI-driven analysis of historical project data to provide actionable insights, reduce risk, and improve decision-making.
Jim Lynch, vice president and general manager of Autodesk Construction Solutions, said, “For too long, construction companies have struggled to connect massive amounts of data and people. Autodesk Construction Cloud changes that by delivering a unified construction experience from design to operations. We’re committed to empowering everyone in the industry to meet growing demands while making construction more predictable, safe, and sustainable.â€
Jenny Moshea, head of technology at Sellen Construction, added, “What’s missing in the industry today is the ability to anticipate risks and make informed decisions. Autodesk Construction Cloud combines the best of what Autodesk has always offered—cutting-edge technology—with the power of the construction network and AI-driven insights. It’s the next evolution in connected construction.â€
One of the major highlights of the launch is the integration of 50+ new features across the entire construction lifecycle. These include enhanced support for AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks within Assemble, improved bid management in BuildingConnected, and new video and photo features in PlanGrid. BIM 360 also received updates, including tighter integration with Construction IQ for early risk detection.
Beyond these technical improvements, Autodesk is expanding its commitment to the construction community by supporting ISO-19650 standards and fostering collaboration through its common data environment.
The platform also leverages AI to help teams identify risks before they escalate. Tools like TradeTapp and Construction IQ provide real-time insights into subcontractor performance and project risks, helping contractors make smarter decisions and avoid costly mistakes.
“Using Autodesk Construction Cloud, we saw a 20% improvement in quality and safety on a major project,†said Michael Murphy, digital construction operations manager at BAM Ireland. “It’s bringing us closer to a unified system where all our data is accessible in one place, eliminating silos and improving efficiency.â€
Autodesk continues to lead the way in creating tools that empower creators, from architects to engineers and construction professionals. With the launch of Autodesk Construction Cloud, the company is setting a new standard for how construction projects are planned, executed, and maintained.
