At MakerCon in San Francisco, Autodesk announced two major updates that are making Fusion 360 more accessible than ever before. These changes are set to transform how people design, create, and bring their ideas to life.

A Single Price for All Features

We’re simplifying our pricing model. Starting May 30, all the advanced tools previously found in Fusion 360 Ultimate will now be available in the standard version for $25/month with an annual subscription. That means simulation, animations, 3-axis machining, and more are now included at no extra cost. It's a straightforward, affordable option for businesses and professionals who want full access to all features without the complexity of different plans.

Fusion 360 remains completely free for students, educators, schools, hobbyists, and startups. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to learn, experiment, and build without financial barriers. Innovation shouldn’t be limited by budget.

Free Fusion 360 with Compatible Hardware

As part of this update, Autodesk has launched a new hardware partnership program. Starting today, selected machine vendors will include a free one-year commercial subscription to Fusion 360 with every purchase of their equipment.

This initiative aims to make the entire design-to-manufacturing process smoother and more integrated. By pairing powerful software like Fusion 360 with high-quality hardware, users can go from a digital model to a physical product with ease. This is especially beneficial for makers, entrepreneurs, and small businesses looking to scale up their operations.

Participating partners include companies like Biobots, BoXZY, CNCRouterParts, MYDIYCNC, OMAX, Other Machine Co., Pocket NC, Printrbot, Type A Machines, and Tormach. These partners offer a wide range of machines—from consumer-grade 3D printers to industrial CNC systems, including some capable of printing biological tissues.
