4-Alarm fire with 2 specials in Northlake, 2-15-14 (part 5)

From John Tulipano: I arrived late at the Northlake 4th Alarm on N. Mannheim Road yesterday around 10:00 PM. Despite being one of the last to arrive, I managed to capture a few photos as crews from Hillside, Melrose Park, and Broadview worked several handlines to protect the exposure in Sector 3. It was impressive to see how quickly they set up and maintained control of the situation. I also got some shots of firefighters from Leyden working to overhaul one of the vehicles that had been damaged near the fire building. The scene was still active, and it was clear that the crews were focused and professional throughout the operation. The conditions were challenging, especially at night, but the coordination between different units was outstanding. It's always interesting to witness the teamwork and dedication of first responders in high-pressure situations.
