Woodstock is on the site
The Woodstock Fire District in McHenry County’s Division 5 is made up of three fire stations that cover over 86 square miles. The department operates with a mix of paid and part-time personnel, and each station is equipped with an ambulance. Station 1 is home to a 105-foot Pierce Arrow XT quint, while Stations 2 and 3 each have a Pierce engine, a tanker, and a brush unit. Station 2 also houses two historic vehicles that haven’t been documented yet. Additionally, Hazmat 5, which serves both Division 4 and 5, is based at Station 1.

Stations 2 and 3 share a similar layout, but with one key difference: Station 2 has three bays, while Station 3 has just two. Both stations feature drive-thru bays for efficient vehicle access.
Station 1 has their own creative decal representing the companies assigned there.
Station 3 also has a unique decal.
The latest additions to the Woodstock Fire District include a 2009 Pierce Arrow XT pumper and a matching 105-foot aerial ladder. These units reflect the district's ongoing efforts to modernize and enhance its emergency response capabilities. Each station not only plays a vital role in local safety but also contributes to the community through public education and outreach programs. With a strong focus on preparedness and teamwork, the Woodstock Fire District continues to serve its residents with dedication and professionalism.
