Barrels and caps are made from wear-resistant liner material, such as chrome-molybdenum alloy steel. The use of convex liners improves service life and grinding efficiency. Liners are fastened with flat head bolts, self-locking nuts, and ferrules. Coupling bolts are sealed to prevent plasma leakage. A 5% extra quantity of bolted liners is included. The cover and cylinder liner are fitted with wear-resistant rubber padding strips, which are fixed by the close of the liner. A 6mm thick rubber gasket between the cylinder liner helps reduce noise.
